Billy West first introduced viewers to Doug Funnie when Doug made its debut in August 1991. The prolific voice actor also took on the role of Doug's nemesis Roger Klotz, continuing to voice the Bluffington teens for the rest of the show's Nickelodeon run. He went on to earn vocal credits for dozens upon dozens of shows, including The Ren & Stimpy Show, Extreme Ghostbusters, Voltron: The Third Dimension, Histeria!, Men in Black: The Series, CatDog, Futurama, The 7D, and Disenchantment.

Constance Shulman brought Doug's crush, Patti Mayonnaise, to the small screen. The actress voiced the talented girl through the final Nickelodeon episode. Shulman is best known for her role of Yoga Jones in Netflix's Emmy-winning Orange Is the New Black.

Fred Newman was an integral part of Doug, voicing Doug's best friend Mosquito "Skeeter" Valentine, his dog Porkchop, and his older neighbor Mr. Bud Dink. Newman also made sporadic appearances as Roger's pal Ned Cauphee and Roger's cat Stinky. The actor reprised his roles on Disney's Doug. He also earned voice credits for Harry and the Hendersons, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Men in Black, and The Easter Egg Adventure.

Alice Playten was Beebe Bluff on Doug for the show's run, voicing Doug's heiress classmate. The Legend actress followed her turn as Beebe with gigs in I.Q., Frasier, As the World Turns, and The Rebound. Peyton died on June 25, 2011.

Greg Lee took on a leadership role with Doug, voicing Bob White, the mayor of Bluffington. The voice actor, who also brought White to Disney's Doug, later popped up on The District, George Lopez, and AJ and the Queen.

The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult actress went on to appear in The Odd Couple II and Arranged, and episodes of Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, Law & Order, andSex and the City before passing away in October 2011

Melissa Greenspan landed her first credited gig thanks to Doug. She voiced a boy named Todd Bentley, who is a huge fan of Doug's. Her post-Doug projects include Diamond Men, Repli-Kate, and The Wild Thornberrys Movie, and episodes of Boston Common, Party of Five, Beverly Hills, 90210, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Desperate Housewives, Switched at Birth, NCIS, Good Girls Revolt, 9-1-1, American Housewife, and Danger Force.
